Community Ride 2023

Ride Recap

As always, we started with a land acknowledgement – We ride stolen land. We are riding in the lands of the Anishibaabe, including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee peoples.

27.5 km of conversation pace riding – the perfect way to get acquainted with all that Southeast Scarborough has to offer. Registration was made free with the option to donate to the Toronto Indigenous Harm Reduction Fund. In the spirit of building a better world, it is our pleasure to share the community raised $1253.21.

In the spirit of a ‘no-drop’ ride, we had the help of incredible volunteer ride leaders who ensured everyone stuck together for the entirety of the ride. We started the ride at Guildwood GO Station to faciliate the use of public transit and limit our emissions footprint. All riders were offered free coffee.

The ride featured several stops along the way including the Scarborough Bluffs at Gully’s Gates, Colonel Danforth and Morningside Park before finishing at Greenvale Park.

The ride ended with a social and snacks.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us capture the ride:
