The 90s steel-constructed hybrid is a stealth bike that can often be transformed into an all-road rig that still supports you through many types of riding and terrain. 26″ definitely ain’t dead, but these 700c wheel-sized bikes ain’t either. They might even be a bit easier to find.

Behind the layers of dust, there was burst of bright orange and ‘Kingfisher’ blue that popped. Team Holdsworth racing team paint theme, ouf! Although this wasn’t the bike that was raced in the Tour de France but it’s pretty awesome that it looks like it. Classic, timeless, 1978. It wasn’t the team-level bike, but it’s bastard-wannabe-cousin with some street smarts.

Built in 1989 during the Japenese-produced-bike-boom, this bike is still living it’s best years with so many more ahead. 32 down, lots more to go. During this era, touring bikes were being produced left and right, this amongst them. When we see older touring bikes, we see a bike made for durability, long trips, and hauling gear.
