Hi! My name is Moez and I love to ride bikes. I started riding 5 years ago when I was spending the summer at my parents’ house. I fell in love with the feeling right away and I haven’t been able to stop daydreaming about bikes ever since.
What Does Cycling Mean To You?
To me, cycling is about the joy of using your own body to take you places, while slowing down, experiencing the world at a human pace. It’s about being aware of all of the things there are to see, or to smell, noticing every little change in the incline.
What is Your Favourite Place To Ride?
The Don Valley is a very special place to me. It’s an incredible network of trails and green space right in the middle of the city – it feels like going through a portal. There’s something for everyone in there and we’re very lucky to have it in Toronto

Tell us About Your Bike!
It’s a dream bike for all day rides. It’s comfy and light and lets me carry all the things I need. I wanted to build myself a bike like this for a long time, and one day Crust made a single one available in my size. I jumped on it straight away!

What Has Been Your All Time Favourite Cycling Adventure?
Riding the Tour Divide, which is a crazy adventure from Alberta to Mexico. You experience such a wide range of geography and weather conditions and emotions and incredible people that it’s really difficult to put into words.

How Do You Think Bikes and Biking Adventures Can be More Accessible for Everyone?
I think we should embrace riding the wrong bike in the right place. I love what the drive side is doing to help show folks how to make adventures possible on the bike they already have.
What’s your favourite detail on your bike?
What’s your favourite detail on your bike?
I have one of these chubby bobcats on all my bikes, and they remind me of the chubby kitty I have waiting for me at home. It also matches all of the other pink features on my bike which I love.
